The fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of a vehicle do not just depend on the efficient utilisation of the fuel by the vehicle, but are also influenced by driving style and other non-technical factors. CO2 is the greenhouse gas primarily responsible for global warming. The values stated were calculated according to the measuring methods specified in the currently applicable version of Directive 80/1268/EEC. AUCTION

Terms & Conditions to bid for the all-new Vento IPL Edition II

The auction for the Vento IPL Edition II starts on 25th May, 2012.
1.       Please go over the terms and conditions, the step by step process given in the Listing and FAQs in relation to the bid process carefully. These collectively form the terms and conditions in relation to the bid process. In case of any discrepancy the terms contained herein shall prevail.

2.       The bid process ("the Bid") is for a Volkswagen Vento IPL Edition II ("the Car")

3.       The signatures on the car are actual signatures converted into a decal and stuck on the car for longer life.

4.       The Signature Vento comes with a cricket bat having original autographs of the ten captains of the DLF IPL season 5.

5.       The Bid closes on 4th May, 2012.

6.       The Auction is only for eBay India registered users. The Seller / Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. (Volkswagen) shall have the right to cancel any bid placed by any eBay registered user without assigning any reason and the decision of Volkswagen in this regard shall be final.  The Seller / Volkswagen can also block any bidder at their own discretion for further bidding to maintain the hygiene of the entire Auction process.

7.       Only Indian residents are eligible to participate in this bid process.

8.       The winning participant shall be required to pay his entire bid amount within a period of 3 (three) working days from the date of the end of the Bid. The Volkswagen dealer shall invoice the car and decal (as accessory) to the winning participant and all applicable taxes shall be borne by the winning participant.

9.       In the event the winning participant fails to pay the bid amount as aforesaid, the next highest bidder shall be declared as the winning participant. The next highest bidder who is declared as the winning participant shall be required to pay his bid amount within a period of 3 working days from the date he is intimated that he has been declared as the winning participant.

10.     Volkswagen shall only be responsible for providing the car on an as-is-where-is basis and the warranty in respect thereof. The delivery of the car shall take around 8-10 weeks from the date of announcement of the winning participant. At the DLF IPL play-offs, the winning participant shall only be given a token delivery of the car. The decision of Volkswagen on handing over the token delivery of the car and venue of the handing over of the same shall be final. It is understood by the participants that the winning participant or his / her authorized representative shall have to personally be present at the above venue to take the token delivery of the captain signed Volkswagen Vento, before a live audience and camera. The actual delivery of the car shall be given to the winning participant through an authorized Volkswagen Dealer nominated by the winning participant and in accordance with regulatory requirements and standard procedures.

11.     The winning participant shall be required to bear all the expenses including those of registration, insurance, tax etc of the car which would depend upon the state in which he resides and transportation expenses if the car is required to be transported to a different city / place.

12.     Nothing on this Bid should be taken to constitute professional advice or a formal recommendation in respect of the Bid or in relation to the Car itself. Therefore it is highly recommended to all the bidders to carefully consider all the terms and conditions and the process of bidding for the Car as also carry out his / her own research in relation to the performance of the Car.

13.     This auction is carried out by iStreetNetwork (Inovent Solutions Ltd.) on behalf of Volkswagen under authorization from Volkswagen.

14.     All disputes in relation to this transaction shall be subject to jurisdiction of Courts in Mumbai alone and applicable law shall be the law as prevailing then in India.

15.     Participants may note that the entire proceeds  of the   auction shall be handed over to WWF for charitable purposes. Participates understand that only Volkswagen is entitled to the benefits under the Income Tax Act, for the said proceeds.

16.     Volkswagen and eBay reserve the right to change the aforesaid terms or withdraw this bid itself.

17.     DLF IPL and the DLF IPL Logo are proprietary to BCCI and the WWF Logo is proprietary to the World Wide Fund for Nature-India.

PULL SHOT
Terms and Conditions  

The “Volkswagen Pull Shot” contest allows users who have installed the Pull Shot app to win tickets for IPL matches every day. To do this, they need to prove their cricketing knowledge by answering a simple question. If they answer this question correctly, they are rewarded with the chance to pull the lever of a virtual slot-machine. The correct pattern rewards the user with a ticket.

• The Facebook “Volkswagen Pull Shot” Activity (hereinafter referred to as “Activity”) is brought to you by Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. (“Volkswagen”) and is open to all persons who register on the website of Facebook or to existing Facebook Users, being residents of India and above 18 years of age ("Participant").
• The duration of the Activity will be from April 4, 2012 to May 26, 2012("Term"). 
• Participation in Activity is purely voluntary. By entering the Activity, all participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to abide by these rules and the terms and conditions of the Activity / DLF IPL / facebook.com.
• Under the Activity, a Participant will be required to complete all formalities as stated on the Facebook page for participation in the Activity and provide his/her authentic and correct information, failing which he/she shall be disqualified at any time or at any stage. The “Volkswagen Power Performer” contest allows participants to win Volkswagen merchandise every day. To do this, they need to guess who they think will be the Power Performer of the live match. If their answer matches that of the Celebrity judges, they could win Volkswagen merchandise by way of a sweepstake. To participate the user either needs to tweet his answer using #VWPP or SMS ‘VWPP’ space his Answer to 56161.

• The “Volkswagen Power Performer” Contest (hereinafter referred to as “Activity”) is brought to you by Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. (“Volkswagen”) and is open to all persons who are residents of India and above 18 years of age ("Participant").

• The duration of the Activity will be from April 4, 2012 to May 26, 2012 ("Term"). 

• Standard rates for SMS participation shall be applicable based on Service Provider of the Participant.
